Made with German hops and malt, this Teutonic construction is perfectly engineered with bright, crisp flavours such as tangerine, gooseberry and citrus. These combine with herbal notes and a smooth bitter finish.

Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a decent splash of balanced juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough clean drinking IPA.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Putting this rating here, as opposed to the other Autobahn, as the ABV matches, and the hops in this are different to the other entry! Anyway, it’s pretty hazy, light amber. Thin, dense, pink tinged, white head. Nose has lots of ripe, white grape. Ripe pineapple. It’s a little dank and piny, and not at all what I was expecting. Smells more West coast US than German. Whatever, it smells pretty good. Taste is light, spicy bitter. Bit of grainy sweetness. Medium body. Foamy, massaging mouthfeel. Lightly bitter finish, with a lip coating, candy floss close. Not convinced this is how the brewer intended, but I did like this one.
