Flagship Series. Tricerahops is double everything you already love in an IPA. More hops, more malt body and a higher gravity define this Double India Pale Ale. Fiercely flavorful, guaranteed to satisfy.

The Diamond, Brooklyn tap: Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is citrus hops, malty sweetness, and the resin. Taste is not extremely bitter, but certainly it does not hide the hops. Lightly sweet. It is kind of a sipper even though the hops are not all that fierce. Nice body at that. Pleasant to drink. Well put together.

Pours orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of hops, grass, caramely malts, pine and citrus. Taste is smooth, malty and sweetish with some citrus, frassy hops, pine and resin. Finish is sweet, sticky and resinous with lingering bitterness and grassy notes. Okay.

Poured from 1 pint 6 fl oz bottle. Clear, subtle haze, orangey yellow with white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and very mild skunk. Dry, citrusy taste of orange and resin. Caramel malt is mostly hidden in the background. Medium body.

Bottle from a local Deli in SF, February 2014. Almost clear dark orange with a small white head. Aroma and taste of hops, caramel, malt, pine and grapefruit. Not a bad one but not as hoppy as expected.

bottle - Pours hazy orange with a small off-white head. It has a big, citrus hop aroma thatβs especially heavy on the grapefruit. The flavor is full of grapefruit accented hops bitterness. The malt backbone lends it a big, full body and strong bitterness lingers long in the finish. Really good.

Draft at GBBF 2013, Day 3 - London. Pours clear, deep gold with a modest, white cream topping. The nose is ripe citrus, alcohol and bread. Moderately sweet with notable booze, bread, orange, marmalade and mild pine needles. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly warming to finish with some astringency, pine, leaves, citrus. So so.

Nice soft citrus elements to this beer, hoppy but not overly bitter. Orange/amber with creamy head, lots of sticky lacing. Grapefruit aroma with taste following the citrus notes and accented with some tangy hops and caramel malt. Well done!

Pours a dark hazy amber/brown and leaves the same colored body with a one finger white foamy head that falls into the body after a minute, foamy clingy white lacing is left in the wake and spider webs after about thirty seconds, the smell is citrus hops, pine hops, a decent presence from some mangos and nicely backed up by a sort of caramel-ness, the taste is bittersweet - as its nicely combined between the bitterness of the citrus/pine hops to the caramel, little bit of a citrus aftertaste, quick dry puckering finish, its fairly easy on the palate, sessionable, alcohol is not really felt throughout the drink, carbonation seems to be good for the style and for me; overall a good DIPA that I would gladly have again, I am looking forward to trying more offerings from Ninkasi

Gravity dispense at GBBF β13, 15/08/13. Clear golden amber with a thin off white head. Nose is toffee, light ginger notes, hops, orange. Taste comprises juicy fruits, orange pith, caramel malt, light hop notes, grapefruit. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sticky feel, hop bitterness in the finish. Solid enough DIPA but more middle draw in the chest of greatness!
