On cask @ the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - surprisingly, it’s chocolate and hazelnuts I’m getting primarily rather than coffee. It does have a roast and almost burnt coffee note on the end though. Taste - more of the same, has elements of stout and brown ale more than porter to be honest. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry coffee/malt finish. Overall - very tasty, surprised I liked a coffee beer this much.
