And we have another flying brewery - BeerLab, behind it are the owners of the beer and beer bar Beergeek. The first X-Rye Saison was brewed in the Clock Brewery, a rye Saison, hopped as IPA. It has a pleasant aroma with tones of flowers, grain, apricots, lemon peel, and rye at the end reminiscent of the taste of plum buns. Pleasant cut, higher bitterness and excellent drinkability. Great entry into the beer scene.

330 ml bottle shared by Werckmeister. Thanks!
Dark golden, hazy body, with a massive, frothy to creamy, white head.
Aroma of dough, lemon zest, funk, pears, green apples, honey.
Taste is dry, with about the same aromas and also quite a lot of pepper.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes dry, spicy, sour-fruity, with grass and dough.
Very nice! Offers everything a good Saison should have and drinks easy and refreshing.

Bottle. Aroma yeasty, kind of dank basement, but also standard barnyard and spices. Clear golden colour. Taste initially hits quite heavily with spices, then continues into barnyard and citrus fruits. Good one.

Bottle shared at Craig’s. Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy white head. Rich melon aroma with some tangy lemon, dry wheat, mild saison yeast. Light to medium sweet flavor with bitter hay, lemon rind, light yeast, peach and melon. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Somewhat bitter on the finish with notes of grass, more lemon rind, grapefruit. Not bad.
