Bottle at Maison du Scopey. It pours hazy pale orange with a small white head. The nose spicy, doughy, orange rind, waxy, grainy, cereal, cracker and creamy almost. The taste is crisp, lightly bitter, pretty spicy, clove, orange rind, biscuit, floral, mild sweetness, touch of soap and pine with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Actually quite a bit going on in this one, but I am not 100% sold on the balance. Not too bad though.

Hazy golds beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Unpleasant soapy spicy nose. Palate is light and semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Unfortunately the taste follows the nose adding grain. Dry finish. Almost undrinkable. Bleh!

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - cloudy golden with a decent creamy head. Nose - orange and sour, maybe funky even. Cardamon hint. Taste - don’t get the clove, but cardamon still there on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a tangy dry finish. Overall - there’s a very mild infection in here I think, but it doesn’t really mess with the overall result.

330ml bottle shared with AshtonMcCobb. Pours hazy golden yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of light sherbet, light spice, orange. Bit funky. Taste is orange, light spice. Can’t find the cloves, which is a blessing. Good body. Light spicy orange finish.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Light lacing. Aroma of orange, white pepper, chalky wheat and flower petals. Flavour of orange and warming spices. Tangy, soapy finish - maybe it’s the camomile? Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. Smells better than it tastes. An interesting beer.
