Keg at the hanging bat. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of sweaty socks, cheesy hops. Taste is hop packet, orange. Bitter and sweaty finish.

Keg at the hanging bat, as dry hopped lager, 5.5%. Pours clear golden, nose is cheesy, odd, grassy, taste is again quite cheesy, musty toffee.

Keg at Craft Beer Co CG. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is fresh, orange sherbet, cereal, lagery malt and crunchy nut cornflakes. The taste is crisp, bitter, grassy, cereal, grain, pepper, orange peel and grapefruit with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp and drinkable. Very well done.

On keg at the Craft Beer Rising event at the Drygate Brewery. This was really interesting and really lovely. It was hard to find its lager roots, so bright was the dry-hopping of the amarillo. At the same time, it did have a restrained elegance. Citrus and herbs (which I guess does imply lager) but much brighter notes than the lager style usually allows.
