Cask at The State, Glasgow. It pours hazy amber with a small white head. The nose is sweet, juicy, lemon poppy seed muffin, orange, Irn Bru earth and jam. The taste is bitter, pine, resin, orange, doughy, spicy, straw, marmalade, orange peel and earth with lingering dry-bitter finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Punchy stuff! Nor half bad.

Cask handpump at Lady Greys, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Wednesday 30th September 2014 Pours hazy mid amber with a white sticky head. Strong and full on with oodles of thrusty citrussy hops blasting through. Quite thick in mouth, bittersweet but then a dry finish. Another great if off the wall choice from Loz today. Btw didn’t realise this was from Mordue. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
