Cask at Steel City Beer Festival 2014 at Kelham Island - Pale yellow straw body, thin white head. Nose has lots of pine, spruce, along with the expected grassiness. Rather bland taste, nothing spectacular in this.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Brighton. It pours deep amber with a small beige head. It pours toasty, wood, light resin, leaf and varnish. The taste is smooth, bitter, toasty, wood, varnish, light resin, citrus peel and light pepper. Medium body and fine carbonation. Light oiliness. Decent hoppy amber.

Cask. 40th Steel City Beer Festival, Sheffield. Hazy amber. Huge, bubbly, lasting, white head. Has an aromatic woodiness. Some resin. A bit of fust. Tastes dry, with more of the woody spice. Palate is a bit oily, and chewy. Feels a bit flabby. Finish is sweet, first off, then long, spicy bitter.
