Bottle. Nose is papaya and mango sorbet pineapple, nice clear and bright as expected from the hops, I could not get anything sour from the Brett at all! Very different to the notes on the keg release below. The nose is not unpleasant, but doesn’t match expectations. Taste is very woody, earthy leading, to a resin bitterness from the hops which subsume a slight tropical note then a bitter lemon/resin finish. Beyond the wood the Brett is not particularly prominent to my palate. The mouthfeel is watery. Excited to see a local brewer working with brettanomyces but itdoesn’t seem to have worked in this bottle at all.

Keg CBC Holborn. It pours cloudy orange with a decent off-white head. The nose is big brett action, earth, barnyard, funk, light manure, orange citrus, hay and some sherbet. The taste is bitter, earthy Brett, dirt, wood, barnyard, orange, tangerine, spice, mango, piney resins with a lingering bitter, earthy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Great bretted apa action. A touch stinky on the nose, but very tasty anyhow...
