This ale is a deep slightly reddy brown coloured ale with a malty base. Slightly sweet and lightly hopped to give a berry fruit undertone and a zesty finish.

Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Pretty much a clear amber beer, so much for itโ€™s name then. Small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry. Mild fine carbonation. Mild dry malts, super light roast. Trace of unsweet caramel. Bitterish hops, slightly floral. Light citrus. Light finish. Not a strong offering from Tyne Bank but inoffensive.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5/3/2014. Deep brown with a slight, off-white head. Malty, without being particularly sweet, a touch of fruit and gentle finish. Ok.

Cask (Lady Greys, Newcastle) - Brown with some orangey tinges. Nutty aroma with hints of toffee and brown sugar. Nicely balanced taste with orange, toffee, brown sugar and roasted malt.
