Sløret amber med offwhite skum som legger seg som ett slør. Aroma malt gress karamell fersken gjær. Smak malt karamell humle grapefrukt barnål gjær. Fin fylde, søtlig, moderat bitter. Flaske fra butikk i Portree, Isle of Skye

Bottle from The Misty Bottle, Skye. It pours clear deep copper with a small dissipating white cap. The aroma is earthy, woody, sappy, resin, green, grassy, herbal, nutty, praline and brown bread. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, green, herbal, varnished wood, pithy, zesty, bitter citrus peel, grapefruit, brown bread and biscuit with spicy, herbal finale. Medium body and average carbonation. A bit toothy and spicy. More of a strong bitter than what you would call an IPA today. Not bad.

Süffiger, karamellig hopfiger Start. Milde Süße, mittelstarke Bitterkeit, rund. Karamellig-hopfig bleibend, herb-bitterer Abgang. Gut! 10/10/11/10/9/10
On keg at Isles Inn, Portree - deep old gold body with a short white head. Fresh grapefruit bite, some piney bitterness at the end. Good clean pint.

A clear deep amber beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of dry dark caramelized malt, nuts, resins. Taste of dry resinous bitter hops, red malt, caramel, spruce, long bitter finish.

Thanks Simon T. Fruity grainy. Bitter in the finish. Mild, bitter with a grainy and not too aromatic finish.
