Schuimend witbier.

0.25 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’, best before May 2016. Hazy, pale yellow with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fruity-yeasty aroma of pear, pineapple, vanilla and clove. Sweetish, fruity-yeasty taste of pear, banana, apricot, vanilla and clove, followed by a short, slightly sourish and yeasty finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Decent, easily drinkable wit.

Bottle shared. Pours hazy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast, banana, light malt and cardboard notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and light bitter. Light to light medium bodied with soft carbonation. An average wit with no surprises.

Hazy straw yellow colour, small frothy white head, mostly lasting, almost no lacing. Aroma: yeast, banana, lactic, sour dough. Taste medium sweet, slightly bitter, yeasty, spicy notes. Light body, watery to sticky texture, soft carbonation. Aftertaste light sweet, bitter and sour, sourness develops especially in the finish, also lactic and metallic notes. Better than expected but not yet good enough.
