Cask at The White Lady, JDW. Pours clear pale gold, thin bubbly white head. Light fruity aromas, not much else. Taste is similar, light maltiness. Not great.

On cask at the Alexander Graham Bell. Appearance - golden with a slight haze and a nice head. Nose - stewed apples. Some barley. Taste - fresh apples. Just a touch of biscuit. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a balanced session ale.

Cask at the Playfair (JDW), Edinburgh. Straw with a thin cream head; grainy aroma; sweet grainy taste; and a clean bready finish with no apparent hops. More a cask lager than a bitter in my opinion.
