Bottle at Craig’s tasting. Very bitter, dry roast coffee, chocolate, sweet, too much bitter coffee for me.

500ml bottle via Craig, cheers! Pours near black, no head. Aromas of coffee, lots of coffee! Taste is more coffee, light dark chocolate bitterness. Coffee bitter too. Interesting, but a bit over-powering.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. It’s all that it promises to be, but is let down by a damp cardboard aroma and taste. Any Steel City beers I’ve had on cask or keg, outshine the bottled stuff by a long way.

500ml bottle. Pours very dark brown with a medium head. Aroma is coffee and chocolate with a little dark fruit. Taste is strong coffee. Liquorice in the bitter finish with more coffee on the aftertaste.
