Cask @ Bank, Manchester. Nicholson’s Beer Festival. Deeper golden coloured with a thick creamy head. It has initial biscuit and bread notes leading to tropical fruits and a spiciness that makes the ale fizz on the tongue.

Cask at Haymarket. Pours dark gold, thin white head. Big grapefruit and resin aromas. Decent bitterness, light caramel at the end. Good balance. Nice cask IPA.

Cask @ Coal Hole, The Strand. Dark amber with impressive head. Soft and muted fruity hop aroma with a hit of fresh bread. Taste is crisp and bitter with a dry finish. Quite good, more refreshing than many similar beers.
