The last new brew out of micro of the month shipment one. Pours kinda ugly copper. Not much on nose maybe light caramel. Tastes very subtly of caramel, malt, bready, and earth. Thin and watery.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 6/25/12

Aroma: Bready-lagery type of nose that of nose (weird for an amber), with fruity yeast, and a little caramel
Appearance: The pour is amber-orange in color with a small off-white head and average lace-work
Flavor: It is fairly off, rather bready, not that sweet, but more off, with some clearly unintentional sourness
Palate: The body is lightish, with a distinctly off feel to it that is hard to describe, but really didn't work at all
Overall Impression: I most certainly didn't enjoy this one nearly at all. I don't know what else to say, and my descriptions on many of the areas were sub par. The main thing to note about this one is that it leaves a bad taste in your mouth (both figuratively and actually).

No aroma or flavor to speak of, like something made by miller or coors for an audience that is just getting into micros. Blah city

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, quite crystal malty as well as mild grassy and floral hops. Flavour is honey, malts, some sweetness as well as mild grassy, floral and wooden notes as well. A bit thin as for the palate.

Brewed at Matt Brewing. Thanks Pirjo and Erkki for bringing this to me from Key West! Clear amber color, small white head. Very bready, caramelly aroma. Light bodied, watery palate. Crystal malty, pale malty, caramelly, bready flavor. A bit lame. (5/3/5/2/10 2.5)
Tap @brewery taproom
Clear amber color, small white head, lace. Light sweetish malty aroma. Light-bodied. Sweetish maltyness, light grassy hops. Weak palate. Clean, perhaps goes with food. Otherwise boring. (5/3/6/2/10 2.6)

From a bottle and tasted during a florida sunset, yeah! Darker than pale lager but similar. Smells a little like gramma’s permanent hair treatment. Decent CO2. Not really bitter. Weird aftertaste after each slug. Starts interesting but goes dull during the session. Unique. Probably would not buy again. Does not really have any negative attributes, an ale that comes across like a pale lager.

Malty with caramel and very light hops. Some biscuit notes, but very light overall. Drank a few in the Gulf of Mexico and it was rather refreshing just not very exciting.

Bottle thanks to jcwattsrugger. Nose and taste of pine, berry fruit, sweet malts and light hops. Thin body.

I can sum of my rating of this in one word: blargh. Dark copper color, modest head. Light bready nose with a hint of spicy hops. Fairly dry in flavor, with dry toasty malts leading into a hoppy finish. The hops are not to my liking, if I had to guess, its northern brewer, which to me tastes a little mushroomy, spicy, and vegetal and is my least favorite hop. This is highly reminiscent of Fat Tire, which is another beer that makes me blargh. One point: after actively disliking the first 1/3 of a glass of this, I finished the rest as a means of washing down a big italian sub, and the strong flavors of the sub did a good job of smoothing out the beer, so at the least it can partner to food, but its not something to enjoy on its own.

Bottle. Not very good. Pours a light yellow gold with a faint white head. Weak aroma of sweet grains and citrus hops. Flavor is light, with mild caramel sweetness and little bitterness. Thin body with average carbonation.
