Also called Belgian Honey Porter. Cask @ Odd Bar, Manchester. Dark with an off-white creamy head. Has a lovely milky charcoal roasted aroma and taste with chocolate notes. Very light and easy to drink texture.

On tap at yhe Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - just about opaque black but there is a small chink of red light appearing on the edges. Nose - roastiness plus black chocolate and hazelnuts. Taste - oh it’s honeycomb and chocolate. Crunchie bar again. Palate - medium bodied and dry in texture. The finish is dry and pretty elegant. Overall - lovely beer. I think the roastiness would define this as a stout or even dry stout though.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 14/11/2013. Near black with a slight tan head. Sweetish aroma of dark fruits, chocolate and a touch of honey, with some toasted malts in the background. Flavour was similar, with the honey a subtle presence, and the finish dryish. Good.
