Cask at the Brasshouse; clear amber pour with a creamy white head, light malt aroma, taste has malt really great creamy mouthfeel, a hint of biscuit enjoyable.

Cask at the Bridge, Kingswinford at 4%. Pours Amber with a medium head. Aroma is piney hops, Ribena and caramel. Taste is sweet and bready to start. Piney hop bready bitter finish.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel, and the flavor is sweet malty with light hoppy notes, leading to a dry end. Boring.

Cask at the Swan, Bicester. Copper coloured beer that was really malty also a bit sweet but unfortunately served too cold, not the first time I have encountered this problem in this pub. Once this had warmed up a bit it really was quite ok but didn’t differ too much from the usual Brakspear style.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Copper colour with lasting live yeast beige head. Yeasty aroma. Fairly typical yeasty Brakspear beer. Some caramel, some hop. Nice yeasty bitter.
