Bottle. Orangeish pale brown colour with a huge lively head (close to being a gusher). Aroma has some chocolate, toasted tones, mild vegetables and some slight peated tones. Flavour is peater, smoked, chocolate and some yeast as well as some sulphury and mouldy tones.

Light brown and a bit murky. The aroma is malty (toast, choc) and some phenols. Similar palate- the peat is dominant and the other elements are out of line. Some smoke, some choc but light phenols and lots of yeastiness.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants. It pours hazy amber with asmall beige head. The nose is wood, toast, caramel, brown bread and light smoke. The taste is caramel, wood, earth, spicy, medicinal, some soapiness, dirty dishwater and burnt notes with a dry finish. Light-medium body and low carbonation. A bit odd and dull, but clearly not as bad as the bottle the previous guys cracked open! No depth to it whatsoever. Meh.
