Bottle from Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear, dark red. Thin, cream coloured head. Aroma is sour cherry, bonfire toffee. Some pine. Some liniment. Taste is dark sugar sweet. Light bitter palate. Some tartness. Decent.

Bottle that I picked up from Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, December 2012 consumed at home. This was a very decent Christmas beer, the spiciness was well done and contributed well. I like the subtlety of the spruce and the beer itself was jolly decent, good tanginess and a very nice bite, middling bitterness. If all Christmas beers tasted like this I would be prepared to try a few more, sadly many are too over-spiced, cinnamon, star anise, sweet and crap, this was an exception a decent effort indeed.
