Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a dark cloudy brown with medium frothy beige head that leaves sticky lacing. The aroma is roast, chocolate, and peppers. Thin mouthfeel with chocolate malt, light pepper and spice. Good.

Bottle poured into Belgian snifter. 2013 release. Pours black with 1-1.5 finger tan head, decent lacing. Aromas of chocolate, cinnamon, light peppers. Tastes of milk chocolate, light peppers, dark fruit, light spices, caramel/toffee, maybe a little vanilla. Finishes sweet with light pepper heat. Peppers may have faded since whenever this was bottled.

C&C 750 mL bottle. I randomly picked two beers with chocolate this Christmas evening and decided to open this as my final beer of the night to continue the trend. Pours a dark brown color with a very large foamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, fruity pepper notes and a mild bit of roast. The taste is chocolate, roast, peppers, stone fruits. Mild warmth from the peppers. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, mild booze, moderate lingering heat.

Peter Fowler very kindly passed this onto me last month at the Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon, cheers Peter! Consumed at home in the company of Loz, Craig, Stella & Kids plus Jackie & Simon 02.08.13 Pours very dark brown with light beige head. A very nice chilli chocolate combination, nice warmth and a pleasant gradual burn, good slow-burner, with a dab of camp coffee. Like it , really like it. A7 A4 T8 P5 Ov15 3.9

750ml bottle, shared by jortiz82. Poured a dark, slightly clear black color with an off-white head. Aroma was some roasted notes, touch of chiles. Sweet malts, roasted chile notes. I was really hoping for a bit more heat in this one - was pretty mild on that end of things.

Bottle from a generous trader. Pours black with tan head. Nose and taste of roast chocolate, pepper, grape soda, milk sugar and caramel toffee. Boozy finish. Medium body.

Charred beef and coffee aroma. Black, medium creamy tan head, nice lacing. Milk chocolate, pepper, plum, and vanila flavor. Creamy mouthfeel, peppery bite on the back of the palate. Delicious, but the heat can be a little disracting.

750ml bottle pours a watery, translucent mahogany with some cloudy, off white head. Nose of chocolate, raisin, sort of vegetal, green bell pepper. Flavor is sweet, chocolate, brown sugar, jalapeno, bell pepper, raisin, smoke. Full finish.
