Cask at vintage. Whisky on nose, rich smooth chocolate with bitter dry smoky whisky finish.

@ Cloisters. Golden dark brown, aroma is stringly woody with a bit of coconut, taste is quite intense with a huge wood character, alcohol, and some roasty chocolatey stuff. Maybe a bit boozy for 5% though.

Cask at Cloister’s. Listed as Oak-aged? Same beer? Not sure. Anyway pours jet black with a decent tan head. Good lacing. Aromas of chocolate, and cream, cookies and cream maybe. Roasted notes too. Very smooth, light bitterness, sweet malt notes on the end. Good.
