Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, 07/06/13. Mahogony brown with a thin light tan head that clears to the edge and leaves spotting. Nose carries burnt sugar, liqourice, good dose of hops, light tropicals. Taste comprises light roast, hops, biscuit, burnt sugars, light pineapple, orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light roast in a dryish finish. Decent drop - a modern hopped up take on a brown ale/mild.

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours deep brown with a fine, beige cream head. Dark bready malt nose with hints of toasted pine. Light to medium sweet flavor with further toasty brown bread, mild earth and pine, toasted sugars, suggestions of ripe citrus. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Mild roasted malta to finish, brown bread, some earth, burnt leaves, toasty bread, light sweat. Good stuff overall. Quite drinkable.

Cask at Marble Arch. Very dark, has a mild character but not a mild as it’s full of tropical fruits. Small frothy head.
