Karhu III is a full-bodied and hearty lager. The beer offers a stronger hops and malt flavour compared to other regular lagers. The first Karhu beers were enjoyed in Pori in the 1920’s. Karhu was brewed in the Pori region up until the beginning of 1930’s but then it began a long hibernation period. Karhu has been continuously brewed since 1958, first in class I.

Darker orange, small head, aroma is malt, grain, sweet, alcoholish, sweet fruit, caramel, taste is the same, nice

Tap@Helsinki Ferry West Terminal 2, Helsinki (08/08/2019) - golden pour with a white head. High corn sweetness, some papery cardboard notes, grassy and grainy, watery body, grassy bitter finish. Not many redeeming qualities here.

Rating regular karhu from what I understood is same as this. Aroma - weak, some hops. Foam - thin, to watery side . Some weak bitterness, medium large, white Appearance - clear amber, light, carbonated. Taste - weak, weak bitterness, bit more weak hops in aftertaste some weak caramel, quite refreshing and drinkable. For Finland price is ok, but for other countries it is way too expensive.
