275ml bottle from the brewery. Picked up December 2013. The latest brew. 6.1%. Clear, plum colour. Thick halo of off white head. Unripe stone fruit. Light smoke. Light, grassy hop. Taste is tart and unripe fruit dry. Fairly bitter, too. Palate is tart and lively. Finish is dry, tart and lengthy, light bitter. Comes across too tart for a porter. As a sour ale, though, it’s pretty decent...

Bottle split at Brew Wharf, big thanks to Ang, 27/03/13. Very dark mahogony brown with a thin tan head. Nose is dark malt, berries, jammy fruits, chocolate. Taste comprises dark malts, cocoa, berry fruits, damson jam, sugars. Medium bodied with bite, soft carbonation, dry finish. Decent.
