On cask. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - light biscuits and toffee. Some red fruit. Taste - more of the same. Quite tangy fruit. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy yet crunchy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - not excited by this but it is balanced.

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy orange body with a thin white head that gradually fades. No lacing. Aroma of apricot, peach and pineapple. Flavour of Danish pastry, orange, pineapple tart and yeast. Medium body with an almost chewable mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Well balanced and sweet - more than one bottle would be quite heavy going though. This bottle was 6.3% ABV.

Cask at Hanging Bat. It pours cloudy golden with a thick white head. The nose is banana bread, doughy, light spice, straw, ice cream and apple/pear. The taste is bitter-sweet, banana split, toffee, dough, melon, wood, some alcohol and light toast with a warming finish. Medium+ body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Certainly not a bitter, bit not sure what it is.... Banana beer???

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Pours clear copper, little to no head. Aromas of caramel biscuit, touch of nuttiness. Taste has more sweetness, with a light balancing bitterness leading to a clean, refreshing finish. Lovely.
