Cask version. Good bodied ale with a slightly sweet aroma and also a bitter-sweet taste. Retried at Moon Under Water in Manchester during the Wetherspoon Beer Festival in late 2019, and was the same.

A pale beer with a nice, thick head. The balance of flavours was quite pleasant but it could have done with being a bit strong. With a bit more strength of flavour it might have been a bit more memorable. Though it did have a nice, vanilla-esque aftertaste.

Cask at the Claude Du Vall (JDW), Camberley - 27/10/12. Clear pale golden with a thin white film atop the glass. Very subdued nose, light fruit and malt, trace of caramel. Taste develops beyond the nose. Fruits, caramel, buttery diacetyl notes, pinch of spice. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leading to a bitter finish. Below average fayre.
