Very hazy gold beer, decent off white head. Palate is semi dry and a little crisp. Mild creamy malt, a little dry. The hops are quite astringent with traces of citrus and bitter pine. Grapefruit pith. Semi dry finish with dry creamy malt. A bitter bastard!

Bottle at home in London - picked up off the discout shelf at Cotteridge Wines. Pours lightly hazy gold with a strong, white foam head. Aged pine needles in the nose, some dry tangerine. Light sweet flavor, some dirty grains, bitter straw, lemon rind. Light bodied with average, lively carbonation. Bitter citrus rind finish, more dry bitter grains, some minerals and dusty pale malts. So so. The finish is a bit astringent and bitter.

500ml bottle. Pours a dark orange with a large head. Aroma is herbal, basil, coriander and pinenuts. Taste is aggressively bitter. Perfume and herbal. A bit too intense.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 14/06/2012, part of the Freestyle Friday series. deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of hedgerow fruits, a touch of caramel and grassy hops. Flavour had solid malts, some more fruit and a lingering, bitter finish. Good.
