Cask at CBC CG - London. Pours clear dark gold with a frothy, off-white head. The nose holds toasted grains, some dried berries, a little earth. Light sweet flavour with earthy and leafy hops, more dried berries, woody dryness, leather, grains. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes with pretty good balance, with more leafy bitterness, toasted grains, leathery fruits. A fairly classical bitter. Nice.

Cask @ Nobody Inn. Surprisingly dark brown, thin off white head. Hoppy grapefruit aroma, completely matched by the flavour. Bit thin, maybe, but otherwise delivers perfectly as advertised

On cask at tap east. Brewsters hopticale illusion. Whimsicale series. 4.0%. copper gold clear lasting thickish beige head. Hoppy aroma. Yes quite a hoppy beer with a bit of malt backbone. Yes pretty decent american sweetish hops. Yes not bad at all. Good hoppy session bitter. Bitter sting on finish is moderate. 3.6/5
