Cask at the Bridge House, Belfast. Golden with a creamy off-white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma with malt. Medium to light body. Fruity, hoppy and quite refreshing. Nice, lasting bitterness. Light, creamy and very easy to dring. Good session beer! (2011-06-10)

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Hazy amber with a thin white head; aroma of lightly malted grains; soft and citrusy in the mouth, with a bready body; and a light citrus bitterness. Certainly not "packed with hops".

Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks 12-04-10 Pours gold with a white wispy head, clear. Light hoppiness on the nose. Good bitterness in the mouth allied with a silky honeyness, but bitterness not in the least bit aggressive, dry finish, another nice monthly special from Vale. A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.6
