Bottle from Open All Hours, Keswick. Golden with a small head. Blandish cask styled lager, although nice enough texture.

Bottle from the Cartmel village shop. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - lots of sweet malt and citrus. Taste - lemon and again sweet malt. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and quite a pleasant finish but should be drier really. Overall - decent body but needs to refresh more.

tap at brown horse ... tap at brown horse ... golden yellow ... white head ... soft lemon grassy nose ... light fruits ... little mellon ... soft grassy linger.
