Bottle from bittermestupid - thanks Greg. Pours black with a fizzy dark tan head. Aroma of lactosity over chocolate and smooth burnt malt. Med body -almost. It’s milk stout with attitude. Sort of milk chocolate. Very flavorful. Finishes lightly sweet.

Draft. Large, foamy head that seems odd for an imperial stout. First sip told me this is a milk stout--creamy, sweet. Lacks the bold complexity of imperial stouts. It is a little watery, but it as a very enjoyable beer.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a pure black color with a medium brown head. A rich sweet malty nose. The flavor is very sweet, sugary, a bit of sweet glue, light brown sugar, roast, vanilla, some dark fruit. Too unbalanced, super sweet. Decent.

ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Clear dark brown beer, small tan head. Surprisingly light palate, semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Sweetish dark toffee malt, no roast or bitterness. Softish smooth finish. Mild fruits underneath. Alright.

Bottle at Chriso’s Easter tasting 2012 at 8.2%. It pours very dark brown, with a thin beige head. The nose is caramel, toffee, spice, cake, roasted malt and charcoal. The taste is cola, caramel, brown sugar, milk chocolate, hay and roasted malt, with a bitter-sweet finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite light and sweet, but easy drinking.

Received in trade from barak316, thanks for the opportunity. Pours a solid black with a small creamy tan head that shows some retention. Smells of milk chocolate, lactose, coffee, and roasted grains. The bottle says Imperial stout, but this smells like a sweet stout. Taste is creamy with milk chocolate and caramel and bits of roast and coffee. Tastes like a sweet stout as well. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet coffee milk kind of mouthfeel. This is a nice milk stout that doesn’t show one bit of its 9.2% abv.

Sample at the Columbus Winter Beerfest on 01/14/2012: The beer pours brownish-black with a thin tan head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of chocolate malt and coffee. Medium to full body with a mocha character and notes of hops and caramel. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Above average overall.
