Mørkebrun. Klar. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Teppelacing. Karamellaroma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken kjeks & aprikos. Tørr, behagelig fruktig bitter avslutning.

Cask at bod Matlock. Amber/dark gold, clear with a thin uneven off-white head. Grassy and herbal aroma, some honey, butter, metallic notes. Tastes a lot better, with malt notes delivering warm buttered toast, chewy caramel and a little stone fruit. Bittering hop on the long finish. Light body, soft carbonation. Surprisingly tasty.

Cask at Sun Inn, Stafford. Pours a golden amber with a small foamy cream head and good lacing – looks excellent. The aroma has tangerine and floral hops. In the mouth the initial flavours are oranges and malts with traces of herbs and berries. After a while some hops and lemongrass can be detected as well. Finish is slightly bitter. This is OK but I would class it as a bitter not a golden ale.
