Mørkebrun. Klar. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Teppelacing. Karamellaroma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken kjeks & aprikos. Tørr, behagelig fruktig bitter avslutning.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 4th February 2025. Amber with shallow foam and pattern lacing. Sweet malts and citruses in aroma. Bitterness and sweet malts in-mouth and a bitter finish. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at bod Matlock. Amber/dark gold, clear with a thin uneven off-white head. Grassy and herbal aroma, some honey, butter, metallic notes. Tastes a lot better, with malt notes delivering warm buttered toast, chewy caramel and a little stone fruit. Bittering hop on the long finish. Light body, soft carbonation. Surprisingly tasty.

Cask at Sun Inn, Stafford. Pours a golden amber with a small foamy cream head and good lacing – looks excellent. The aroma has tangerine and floral hops. In the mouth the initial flavours are oranges and malts with traces of herbs and berries. After a while some hops and lemongrass can be detected as well. Finish is slightly bitter. This is OK but I would class it as a bitter not a golden ale.
