This pilsner beer is a combination of ground red peppers, malted barley and hops. It’s a delicious, velvety beer with a hint of spice and a surprisingly warm finish.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is pepper, some floral and fruity notes along with mild bready malts. Flavour is a bunch of spices, bready malts, some mild toffee as well as mild zesty notes. Strange, but still quite balanced.

Fresh malty nose. Pale golden colour, good foamy white head, recedes slowly, fair lacing. Aroma grainy, soap, citrus, grass. Taste light to medium sweet and bitter, grainy, hoppy notes, slightly peppery. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste mild bitter, finish quite peppery, also some ginger. Overall a nice pilsener with a spicy twist.

Not so sharp as the name suggests, but more modest and gentle. Standard pilsner.

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow colour with a medium white head. Smells malts, grains, herbs. Tastes malty, peppery, herbs, fresh. Could use a bit more sweetness or something, because it tastes a bit boring now. Not a bad beer.though. Thin body, crispy carbo.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. A cloudy light amber pour with a light and quickly disappearing white head. Served cool, which I think this beer really needs. Yeasty, spicy aroma with a strong, peppery bitterness in the taste and palate with some citrus notes too. This beer won’t appeal to everyone, but it was nice to taste and will find friends.

33cl bottle @ home. Hazy yellow to golden color, small but pretty firm white head. Smell malts, a bit spicy and slightly rice. Taste malts, lightly bitter, again some spicyness, slightly oatmeal. Peppery finish. Low to medium carbonation, medium body. It’s not a bad brew I think, but I just really dislike the pepper and spicyness.
