Cask at Moulin Inn. It pours clear rich golden with a medium white head. The aroma is malt driven, cereal, toasty grain, rivita and spice. The taste is dry, bitter, bready malts, biscuit, cereal and some toasty grass. Light body and soft carbonation. Easy going light ale. Sessionable.

Cask @ Moulin Inn, Pitlochry [280213]
Golden amber, clear, thin white head, good lacing
Aroma of light fruits, light pale malt
Taste of light pale malts, dab of wet hay, soft bitter citrus hop, light soft fruits, light flavour
Palate - light body, bit oily texture. Finish a bit dry, slight zesty but a tad of an astringent linger
Overall - Fairly ordinary, quite watery, it’s drinkable but spoiled by the finish

On tap @ Moulin. Pours amber with a thin head. The nose has honey and biscuits. The taste is of honey, rasins and cornflakes. The palate is medium in body with a medium creamy texture and a sweetish finish. Overall, not bad, but too cloying on the end.

Sampled cask conditioned at the Moulin Brewery.
The lightest offering from the brewery. Golden colour. Bready aroma. Sweetish, somewhat ashy light body, lightly malty, a hint of vanilla. Dryish finish.
