Very hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and crisp. Thin malts, trace of creamy sweetness. Hops are crisp floral orange with a backing of peel bitterness. A trace of lemon and a whisper of tropical fruits. Light crisp finish. Snappy and drinkable.

Bottle at Jake’s Place, Edinburgh. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The nose is farmyard, pine and earth stewed orange. The taste is smooth, moderate bitterness, grapefruit, lime, light resin and light farmyard with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Ok, but a bit too much farmyard action for my liking.

Bottle on the train from Edinburgh - 08/12/12. Hazed mid amber with a medium sized off white head that retains well. Nose is mango, light pine, bitter grapefruit, orange pith. Taste comprises light pine, mango, orange, citrus fruit, caramel, light sugars. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish. Decent.

(Cask at Gallows Bird, 20120908) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had butter, malts and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, butter, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. Overall impression was musty and the diacetyl pushed through quite heavily.

Aroma: Biscuit and sharp citrus aroma.
Appearance: Cloudy amber body. Cream coloured head. Almost no visible carbonation. Nice lacing.
Taste: Quite bland - it tastes diluted. Sour, soapy taste.
Palate: Watery mouthfeel. Flat carbonation. Oily texture.
Overall: I was hoping for better. Unfortunately, this is a bit weak in all departments.
