Draught 1/3 Pt@Black Isle Bar, Inverness: Schwarz, kräftige Trübung, stabiler feinporiger Schaum; frische Nase, dunkle Fruchtigkeit, kräftige Röstaromen, Kaffee(!!!), Espresso, sehr würzig, kräftige trockene Hopfennoten; frischer + sehr würziger Körper, cremig, kräftige Kohlensäure, kräftige Röstaromen, Kaffee, Espresso, kräftige trockene Hopfennoten; angenehmer trocken-würziger Nachgang mit kräftigen Röstaromen

Dark ruby brown...ruby light through..off white head
Aroma of sweet dark caramel...some roast malts....light coffee..no hops
Taste - sweet dark malts....some roast malt but not too much roast...mellow light coffee...some chocolate..slight hint of liquorice...smooth....well blended
Palate - very low carb....bit flat...texture a little too thin but smooth. Finish as main flavour..some nice coffee on the tail
Mellow porter with soft blended coffee but a bit thin and flat. Would like to try this again.

cask at cloisters ... deep brown ... thin tan head ... soft coffee roast malts ... dark chrry coffee roast nose ... sweet roast ... light milk sugers ... dark malts ... soft sweet coffee ...possible a little too sweet
