Award winning Mad Goose is a zesty pale ale with a refreshing citrus finish, inspired by our own fearsome feathered friend. Her hiss was far worse than her bite except around mating season when it was best to stay inside for another well earnt beer.

Bottle from Asda. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is light caramel malt, light fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light dry malt, light metallic, pepper spice hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Drunk fresh. A fine session ale.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with a one finger white head, great retention and lacing, exactly what I expect from a golden ale. Aroma is hoppy, malt, bit of citrus fruit, zest. Flavour has a nice malt base, hops, citrus fruit, well balanced with just a mild bitterness at the end. Smooth oily mouthfeel. Really nice beer, easily drinkable.
