Opaque black - brown beer. Residual tan head. Smooth palate with fine mild carbonation. Smooth dark malt with mild lactose sweetness. No roast or bitterness. Aniseed, violets and red berry fruits as well! Finishes smooth. Very easy drinking - slips down effortlessly.

Pitch black color. Intense nose of dark fruit, berries, bittering chocolate and toffee. Starts much more sour than expected with some berries, caramel and bitteriing chocolate. Sourness works quit well. Warming alcoholic finish with plums and dark chocolate. Intense stuff.

Bottled at RBESG 2006 - thanks to Motelpogo. A pitch black beer with a disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of caramel and roasted malt as well as light notes of alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with medium notes of roasted malt and chocolate, as well as light notes of whiskey, leading to a dry roasted finish. The alcohol leaves a slight burn in the cheeks.

Bottled at RBESG-06, GTN. Dark, reddish-brown, clear-looking beer with a small, tan head. Coffee, alcohol, mild chocolate, mocha and hops in the aroma. A very smooth beer with wocha, coffee, dark bitter chocolate and a full body. The finish has some alcohol with lots of coffee-bitterness. I want more of this! (060826)

Bottled. Dark amberish ruby colour. Aroma of candy sugar, plum and mild roasted malts. Flavour is malts and candy sugar with dry fruits and roasted malt. Alcohol gives a very warming effect, though it doesn’t show up that much in flavour. Very pleasantly done.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Phil (motelpogo) who travelled the world for 3 months with this in his backpack to bring it to RBESG 2006 in Gothenburg. What an effort.... Pours a clear, reddish mahogany with a small, light brown head. Full and vinous aroma with sweetish, roasted malt and some dried fruit. Full-bodied and very complex with raisins and other drid and overripe fruit. Very warming alcohol and a subdued bitterness. A pleasure indeed. 260806
