Hazy straw coloured, slightly tart pear aroma. Lovely sweet pear juice with a touch of acidity and a dry finish

Bladder bag at GBBF'19, day four, 09/08/19. Pale yellow with moderate off white spotting. Nose is pear drop, straw, sugars, grains. Taste comprises sweet stewed pears, residual sugars, apple, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Ok if a touch sweet for my liking.

330ml bottle from Ralph himself at Ludlow Food Festival. Very sweet perry, almost too much, fairly acidic with a sharp fruity tang on the palette. Not that great if I’m honest.

Bottle that was picked up from Ralph’s stall at Hay on Wye Winter Food Festival 27.11.11 consumed a little there and a bottle of it today at home 28.11.10 Pours clear with a definate green tinge to it. Quite sweet in mouth, its a still perry so no bubbles, aroma is slight but there is a slight sweet peariness. Going back to taste it’s fine but maybe a touch sweet, little bit cordial like also, but pears are there and its pleasant. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
