Best before 05/25,from Edingen, august 2024. Sharing this bottle with my wife, two days ago, at Epalinges. A classical, from the black forest, rather smooth for the style, bready, malty, German bitterness, refreshing.

Drunk on tap at Osteria ai Cancelli in Iseo. Golden clear, moderate head. Mild grain nose. Lightly malty flavor, pretty light earthy hops for a pils but it's very refreshing on this rather hot day. Smooth and not too exciting but no big failure here.

Frothy head. Light malty, soapy aroma. Ditto flavor with a pronounced hoppiness, especially in the aftertaste. Not really good.

On tap at Stockbridge Tap Edinburgh. Clear pale gold lasting white head. A basic lager. Nit awful or poor but little of merit. Some lemon on finish. Bit metallic.

Keg at the Stockbridge Tap. Pours clear straw gold with thin white head. Aromas of green beans, light malt. Taste is more of the same. Crisp finish, slightly astringent. Decent enough.

On keg at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden with some head. Nose - citrus and sweetcorn. Taste - green beans, more citrus and light spice. Pale malt at the back. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a solid pils.
