Cask at The Pheasant, Ashford. Brown beer with thick beige hed. from the sparkleer. It’s an ok brown bitter. Malt in mouth and some bitter sting on the finish. Some malt on aroma. Fine, ok bitter.

Cask at the Hobgoblin, Bicester, Oxon, 26-09-09 Pours chestnut in colour as per description with white head. Dark fruits show in the mouth, really malty, very reminiscent of others from the Wychwood stable. Its fine and I had a couple of pints. A5 A3 F6 P3 Ov11 2.8
