Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival 04.02.11 This is extremely lively huge billowing tower of foam atop, and golden with a light haziness. The anticpated fruity aroma was totally overwhelmed by a big sulphourous blast which lingered for quite some time before eventually you did get a sense of something tropical in there. Taste is fruity however I also found this a touch sweet and not as crisp, fruity or zappy as I would have liked. Enjoyable yes, but Bottle Brook can and often do much better in the golden beer category. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Cask-conditioned at the Derbyshire beer festival, Seven Stars, Bristol 6/12/10. Deep gold with no head. Sweet, tropical fruit aroma with caramel. Flavour of oranges, pineapple and apricot jam, with plenty of sweet malts and moderately bitter finish. Too sweet for me.

From cask guildford arms. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, peachy, grapefruity and mango. Lingering fruity and hoppy into mild bitter finish.
