Cask@Akkurat, Stockholm. Amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma is nutty, caramelly, quite grassy and floral as well. Flavour is similar, but also has mild tropical fruity notes and toffee to it.

Tap at Cloisters, Edinburgh. Pours a light amber colour with a reasonable head. The nose is biscuity with some ginger in there, so ginger biscuits I guess. Unfortunately, there’s also a strong green apple note which isn’t a good sign. The taste isn’t quite so intense so more like cereal or basic digestive biscuits, still some green apple too. The palate is medium bodied with a creamy middle and it cleans quite well. Overall, it’s a shame as I don’t think I was drinking this on its best day and it did have some promise.

Cask, handpull at The Malt & Hops, Leith, Nr Edinburgh, with Craig, Rob (Rob’s mate) & Loz, 29.10.10 Pours amber with some toffee. I found that there was a whiff of tiredness on the nose just a hint of been on a day two long sourness starting to creep in. Despite this it looked in good nick, there was some middling fruitiness but not great. A4 A4 T5 P2 Ov9 2.4
