Finnish style, containing the traditional spice of fresh juniper berries. An enticing herbal aroma, with hints of pine, leads to a malty flavour, with the tanginess of the juniper balanced by a delicate bitterness and smooth, spicy finish.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Copper coloured with a thin cream head; herbal aroma; crisp herbal flavour to start then developing a some fruity berries - not sure that this was Juniper though; the finish is dry, delicate and lightly bitter.

Cask at the Forest Gate JDW, Chester. Poured a dark gold/amber with a medium head. Aroma was toffee and vanilla. It had a toffee and caramel start, with toffee and vanilla following. Dry finish with berries on the aftertaste. Very nice, would go well with a toffee pavlova.

Spoons Fest! Clear amber beer. Residual suddy white head. Light dry palate. Low carbonation. Sweetish tangy fruit - hard to pin down. Juniper I guess! Light caramel malt base. Hint of banana. Dry finish. Holds together - not bad at all!
