A very pale golden ale with subtle grapefruit and spice aroma, leading to a long crisp bitter finish. Very refreshing.

Bottle at home on 30 June 2013. Purchased Co-Op in Oakham, Rutland. Very pale appearance. Kinda looks like a pale lager, rather than a golden ale. Cut grass aroma and immediate astringent hop taste followed by not very much.

16th June 2012: hand pulled half-pint in the excellent ‘Crown’, Beeston. Almost lager looking beer: pale gold with a fading head of thin white bubbles on top. The aromas were of a citrus nature with some freshly cut grass in the mix too. Hoppy citrus flavours also ruled the taste with very little maltiness coming through: enjoyed my CAD better and glad I only bothered with a half of this!
