mooi rood met roze kraag, mooie kersen in het aroma en in de smaak, zoet, licht zuur, iets beperkt verder niets mis mee, lijkt wel wat op frisdrank met de koolzuur...

Color rojizo habitual. Mucha espuma 3-4 dedos, muy duradera. Aroma muy frutal, obviamente y claro sabor a cereza durante todo el trago, aunque al final es mas seco y efervescente, dejando un conjunto menos dulce que en la mayoria. No esta mal, aunque el estilo no me guste.

Flaska från belgianbeerfactory.com. Bra djupröd färg. Kemisk doft av körsbärslim. Smaken ännu sämre där den kemiska körsbärssmaken bytt plats med kemisk sötma och metall.

Can. Pours a cloudy red with medium frothy pink head that lasts leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong cherry skin, funk, and wood. Thin mouth, very sweet cherry, light tartness, funky, decent.

Can from Masuyo’s. Poured into a duvel snifter. Clear pomegranate red with a nice pink foamy head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving behind a thin layer that lasts along with solid lacing. Slight aromas of cherry, bread and cranberry. Syrupy mouthfeel with a sweet and slightly tart taste on the palate. A little too sweet for my liking..prefer Cantillon honestly. Finish is also a bit too sweet and slightly cardboardy.

33cl can into glass. Barman in Ghent told me ’kriek is for ladies and gays’. Oh, those crazy Belgians! Nose is subdued malty cherries. Looks like cranberry juice with a thin tan head. Flat beer with sour (then sweet) cherry palate. Refreshing and the same price as soft drink in Belgium. Incredible!

Bottle. Clear red with medium sized light pink/orange head. Cherry soda, light tart berries, dough, lemon rind, twigs. Not so nice vegetal/chemical bitter finish. Quite sweet with tart touch. Medium bodied. Artificial tasting, but less sweet than I remember it to be. Nice alcoholic alternative for a soda.
