Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 20/5/08. Deep, clear gold in colour with a decent, white head. Aroma of elderflowers and grapefruit. with a touch of sweet malt. Hoppy flavours, with some citrus fruit and pepper leading to a decent dry finish. Very good.

Cask at Fannies Ale and Cider House, Saltaire, West Yorks’ 04-05-07. Poured warm golden colour with white busy head. Hops and Grapefruit dominated the aroma and were most noticeable in taste dept’. I marginally preferred the Durham White Velvet that I tried alongside this, but this was very drinkable.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2007. Pale copper/gold with bubbly off white head. Very hoppy aroma, dry spice. Very citrusy. Very very dry (or was that the dust?) Bit floral, but v. drinkable.
