Dark brown. The aroma is a little coffeeish and a little roasty. Chocolate, toasty, with medium bitterness and a gentle dark malt complexity. Good stout - I could drink some of this.

Draught at the brewery, dark brown colour but not opaque, extremely strong carbonation which does not come down for quite a while after it was poured, creamy light beige head. Strange nose of detergent and ripe cheese, with rosted coffee and a whiff of tropical fruits coming in as the beer warms up. flavours of bitter chocolate and mushrooms. Quite dry with a lightish body and a short botter finish. Unbalanced stout but still quite interesting.

Draught sample at the brewpub. Dark brown to black color with a beige head. Roasty aroma with malt, some coffee and licorice notes. Sweetish flavor of roasted malt, a bit of coffee and light yeasty hints. A bit light-bodied but still a decent Stout.
