Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival 09-05-08 Mid brown in colour with a lovely smokey bacon aroma, no one else seems to have got that but Loz and I definately did, lets hope we were rating the same beer, I’ve checked me notes again and it’s definately this one. There was a nice toasty and roastiness to this beer, quite fruity interesting mild I quite like some of the Little Valley stuff as I recall and this was no exception.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 20/4/08. Chestnut red with a slight off-white mild. Aroma of red fruit and a whiff of roasted malt. Flavour had some caramel and chocolate malt before a short, fruity finish. A drinkable mild.

Cask handpull at Market Porter. Deep chestnut with thin beige head. Roasty toasty mild with good fruits. Rather a good mild. It is mild, but it is toasty. Excellent mild, with some choc, but just so tasty in the malts.
